The mega popular photo sharing service, Instagram, long ago moved beyond a place to show off photos of you and your friends having a night out on the town. Now brands from Nike to Nordstrom are on Instagram sharing photos of products, staff, events … you name it. But Instagram isn’t just a business opportunity for the big guys. Small businesses can also benefit from showing photos of why they love what they do and show off the best of their business. We recently launched an Instagram profile for our client Bergies Coffee Roast House in Gilbert, Arizona. Bergies is able to show off their great location, delicious drinks, event photos and cool shots taken around their neighborhood.

One thing we always do for Bergies is ensure that when we post a photo to their Instagram account it is automatically tweeted out to their followers, encouraging further engagement. It also appears on their Facebook Instagram tab which means every one of their over 780 Facebook followers has a chance to see their Instagram Post.

If you’re thinking of launching an Instagram profile for your business remember any social profile works better when connected to your existing social media activity. In addition to sharing your Instagram photos on Twitter and Facebook, consider adding Tumblr, Pinterest, Foursquare and Flickr to the mix!
